Welcome to Removals4Homes website. Once you have accepted a quotation from Removals4Homes, you are agreeing to all of the terms and conditions listed below:

Where you (customer) have undertaken the packaging of your own possessions ready for removal:

 We would advise you the customer, that the responsibility is solely upon you to ensure that all personal belongings including furniture and fragile items are packaged safely and securely ready for transit.

Removals4Homes is not responsible or liable for damage in situations where the customer has undertaken their own packaging.

Prior to removals work commencing, parking must be arranged by you (customer) at both addresses (removal and relocation).

Any parking fines incurred as a result of home removals work will be charged to the customer on the final bill.

​

Obtain all documents, permits, permissions, licenses and custom documents necessary for removal work to be completed.

​

Be present throughout the collection and delivery of removal.

​

Arrange proper protection for goods left in unattended premises, ow where other people like tenants or workmen are or will be present. 

 

Prepare adequately all appliances or electronics prior to removal.

Cancellation Fees for Confirmed Bookings:

​

Should our services be cancelled 2 days prior to the arranged removal date a 30% charge will be applied. If service is cancelled within 24 hours prior to planned removals work, 50% charge is applied.

If the customer believes any items have been damaged in transit by Removals4Homes, point this out while Removals4Homes staff are still on the customer premises or upon completion so that we can personally identify the damage and take the appropriate course of action. This can include a partial refund or in some cases an insurance claim (excess of £250 applies to all insurance claims).

Our Right to Hold the Goods (lien)

Removals4Homes shall have a right to withhold and/or ultimately dispose of some or all of the goods until you have paid all our charges and any other payments due under this or any other Agreement.

These include any charges that we have paid out on your behalf like parking fee, expenses for permission and licenses, etc. While Removals4Homes hold the goods, you will be liable to pay all storage charges and other costs incurred by our withholding your goods. These terms and conditions shall continue to apply.
